Serving Immigrants Org provides comprehensive and compassionate safety planning for immigrant and mixed-status communities confronting the ongoing immigration enforcement crisis.

Our approach begins with the individual, extends to the family, and ultimately strengthens the community ensuring that every person has the tools, knowledge, and support to remain safe and informed in moments of uncertainty.

Individual Assistance

We work directly with individuals to create personalized safety plans, centered on their values and informed decisions.
Plans include guidance on:

● Protecting children, partners, and dependents during an emergency;

● Securing finances, housing, and healthcare access;

● Understanding and asserting one’s constitutional and human rights during interactions with ICE or law enforcement.

We also offer Know Your Rights training and emergency readiness consultations, empowering individuals to face enforcement actions with preparation and dignity.

Family Safety Planning

Every family with immigrant members deserves a plan.
Our team facilitates family-based safety workshops and private sessions to help families:

● Develop collective plans for childcare and elder care;

● Protect family property and assets;

● Address specific immigration vulnerabilities;

● Receive training on constitutional rights and ICE protocols.

We believe safety is not individual, it’s a family commitment rooted in love and preparation.

Community Planning

Serving Immigrants Org partners with organizations, faith leaders, and community groups to develop community-wide safety frameworks.
These efforts build resilience against enforcement operations and strengthen collective defense.

Community safety plans may include:

● Alert systems to notify neighbors and community members of ICE activity;

● Legal and financial support networks for families impacted by detention;

● Emergency funds for bonds and legal representation;

● Identification of safe spaces and community shelters;

● Hosting safety planning clinics and distributing Know Your Rights materials.

Immigration Direct Services

Our attorneys and legal advocates across the United States provide comprehensive immigration representation, including:

Pro Bono Sanctuary Network

We are creating Serving Immigrants Sanctuary Spaces across the country safe, healing environments for immigrants and advocates to gather, organize, and heal.

These spaces will host legal clinics, mental health circles, wellness workshops, cultural events, and community meals, offering refuge and empowerment in equal measure.
